Red Light; Green Light

Last Friday my school hosted this dance called Red Light Green Light in the lower level of the Student Center. Men and women from all of the surrounding colleges and universities came over for a fun night to mingle and score a date to next weeks Black Cat Dance. The concept of the dance was pretty simple; you wear green if you're single, red if you're taken, and yellow if you're somewhere in the middle. It was exciting to see so many women here at Agnes Scott get ready and talk about what they were going to wear to the dance. At around 10:30 pm everyone started showing up to the dance and by 11 pm the line to get in was insane. The music was good and the people looked great. There even was an open bar set up for students over the age of 21. Everyone seemed to be dancing and connecting with each other and hopefully some of my fellow Scotties were able to score some dates! I know that on the day before this dance, my school also hosted this Date Raffle event. Students were able to bid on  a chance to go to Black Cat with an eligible bachelor/bachlorette from the surrounding universities. All proceeds for the event went to AIDS Atlanta and by the end of the night Agnes Scott College was able to raise over $2000! Way to go Scotties!

Until next time,

Miss Peach xoxo
