On Tuesday a southern snow storm hit us and all classes had to get canceled from Tuesday afternoon and reopened Friday morning. What that meant to us students was afternoons filled with our version of sledding in the snow and numerous hours of chatting with my fellow Scottie Sisters. When we were notified about classes being canceled on Tuesday, we all rushed outside with our cameras and starting taking numerous photos to send out to our friends and families back home. This snow storm really showed me how kind people are in situations when we can't control what mother nature is doing. Some of the kitchen staff slept at the Alumna House because the local transportation was shut down and did a great job in making us feel comfortable. On Wednesday night during dinner when all of us got emails informing us about campus being closed on Thursday the whole dining hall cheered with excitement. Although we had a lot of fun relaxing with friends and catching up on our readings and assignments for class, we were so glad that classes resumed today. I can now tell that the students who attend Agnes Scott are definitely focused on their education and enjoy learning and going to class. A few days off were fun but we are ready to take down this semester!
Until next time, xoxo
